Faculty of Engineering Science
Biopolymer Processing

The research group of Biopolymer Processing is dedicated to the production and processing of natural and bio-inspired polymeric materials and forms this interdisciplinary bridge between basic research and application, thereby emphasizing and focusing on the material processing and shaping.

The application-oriented research priorities can be primarily divided into two categories:

  • Biopolymers for technical applications (filters, packaging, textiles, functional materials)
  • Biopolymers for technical applications (filters, packaging, textiles, functional materials)
