Photophysics of Synthetic and Biological Multichromophoric Systems
Photophysics of Synthetic and Biological Multichromophoric Systems
The aim of Research Training Group 1640 "Photophysics of Synthetic and Biological Multichromophoric Systems" is the extensive processing of multichromophoric systems. Such systems play a crucial role, for example, in photosynthesis, the development of organic solar cells, and general molecular electronics. Apart from their applications, these systems are also of interest because they provide insight into fundamental issues of physics, chemistry, and condensed materials. Concepts, experience, and methodological know-how from physics and chemistry are combined to achieve systematic progress in this area
